Music Update

Been listening to a lot of new mixtapes that are free on the interweb because the feds yelled at me for downloading the Dark Knight, so I can't pirate for a while. Here's some of what I've been getting:

Kanye's new mixtape, called LV's and Autotune releases a good amount of new material that I enjoyed. Get it HERE. My highlights have to be:

Big Screen (It's very Graduation-ey with the beats and the raps)

Put On Part 2 (The verses in this song are a lot better in the original for Jeezy and Jay-A raps hard on it. Sadly Kanye's verse is the same)

And Sky High (Kid Cudi is one of my favorite new artists and his verse, which is the only verse in the song, is nice)


And here is a song from up and coming artist Asher Roth. He is a white suburban hip hop artist from Morrisville, PA. I really like how he knows he is the opposite of a gangster and he raps about that fact. This is my favorite song from his new mixtape:

JetLev: Strapping a Fire Hose to Your Back

The JetLev Flyer is a new contraption that pumps out water through a jet pack like device worn on the back. The water propels the user into the air and can suspend the user at any height by pumping out the water at different pressures. A pretty simple idea with awesome results!

The Lonely Island's Latest

It's a love hate thing as to if you will like this. I think that everything the Lonely Island puts out is hilarious like Lazy Sunday and Dick in a Box.

Davy P just introduced me to Wale. Pretty awesome hip hop. I'm not sure who I would compare him to. Crisp and diverse beats with lyrics that are fun to pay attention to (That's what I think makes good rap). Get his mixtape here.

Ever wonder what it would feel like if you got fucked up as a kid? Well this kid went to the dentist and got way way too much medicince. The best is at the end when he tells his dad, "you have 4 eyes!"

Pwn Youtube, A Useful Tool to Use

My dad told me about this cool tool called pwn youtube, and it allows you to download any movie off of youtube. All you gotta do is put the word pwn before youtube.com in the address of the video you want to download.
