The Year 2008 In Photographs. EPIC!

I have been reading (well looking at) this blog called The Big Picture for a good while now. Its updated periodically by the Boston Globe Newspaper, and it is a compilation of all different high-res photos from the associated press. Usually each post has a common theme and the last 3 days have been The Year 2008 In Photographs.

These photo albums and captions are epic! Some pictures are just friggen sweet and others are really heart wrenching. I could research for hours about each photo. Anyway check out all 3 sections because every photo is tits. The links are after this example of how crazy these photos are:

"Maasai warriors cover a battle field as they clash with bows and arrows with members of the Kalenjin tribe in the Kapune hill overlooking the Olmelil valley located in the Transmara District in Western Kenya on March 01, 2008. The Massai, the Kalenjin and the Kisii tribes have recently clashed over ongoing land disputes that erupted after botched local elections during the general elections held in Kenya in December of 2007. Over twenty warriors from the tribes have been killed in bow and arrow battles near the borders of these tribes in the last couple of months. (Yasuyoshi Chiba/AFP/Getty Images)"

There are still bow and arrow battles being fought. Wow.
